Quickly developing into a fan favourite at the Dolphins, Jack Bostock is making a sizable impact, but his journey to the top was an unorthodox one.
Sitting second on the NRL's top try scorer list this season, the 194cm winger has earned a contract extension that will keep him at Redcliffe until the end of 2027.
Now, the 20-year-old has opened up on what it feels like to be going from strength to strength, as the Dolphins sit pretty in the top four.

"I'm enjoying my footy under Wayne (Bennett) and Woolfy (Kristian Woolf) and Fieny (Nathan Fien) and playing with all the boys in the top grade," Bostock told 9News on Wednesday.
"They all instil a bit of confidence within me going out there."
But his journey to the big time wasn't always meant to be this way, with the Wollongong-born star being discovered by accident.
He was spotted by teammate Sean O'Sullivan playing under 19s in Sydney.

"He was meant to go and watch Isaiya Katoa play for Penrith, but he was out with a broken hand, so he hung around and watched and he liked what he saw when I was playing, gave his dad a call," Bostock said.
"The next few weeks, I was up here meeting with them."
O'Sullivan's father is Dolphins recruitment guru Peter O'Sullivan.
Bostock has blossomed playing outside prized Dolphins recruit Herbie Farnworth.
"Herbie has helped me a fair bit. He obviously started his career on the wing as well," he said.
"He helps me a lot, especially in defence. He's a great talker out at training."
Away from footy, the young star has developed a following on his Tik Tok page which features cooking.
"I got a lot of spare time, living up here," he said.
"I live by myself, with a few mates, so obviously no parents around to cook or clean for us, so you've got to fend for yourself."
The Dolphins sit fourth on the ladder with eight wins to their name.
